About the event
David Hong, a family therapist from Australia with over 30 years of clinical experience, will be sharing with us about how to work with families with OCD.
OCD stands for Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder. It is a mental disorder characterized by recurrent, unwanted thoughts (obsessions) and/or repetitive behaviours (compulsions) that feel difficult to control. Obsessions and compulsions can cause significant distress, consume excessive time, and interfere with daily activities and relationships.
This session is suitable for therapists, aspiring family therapists, or families trying to cope with a family member diagnosed with OCD.
